The broadcast opens with a recap of Roman Reigns standing tall alongside his family against the 946 on Raw the previous week. Backstage arrivals feature Bayley and Lyra Valkyria (gearing up for a No Disqualification match), Ethan Page, IYO SKY, and Becky Lynch. However, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce steps into the ring with disappointing news: Stephanie Vaquer is medically cleared out and unable to compete. As a result, Becky Lynch steps directly into a one-on-one showdown against Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship.

Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn interrupts, visibly disgruntled that he was flown to Fresno just for promotional photos and left off the active match graphics. After taking shots at the crowd—who fire back with “Sami sucks” and “OTC” chants—Zayn launches into an impassioned tirade. He argues that despite being a Grand Slam Champion and WrestleMania main-eventer, he is the most underrated wrestler alive. Zayn boasts that The Bloodline only reached historic heights and generated hundreds of millions in TV rights because he joined them, cementing his legacy as the ultimate versatile performer.

Fed up with Zayn whining about everyone gunning for him, “The Young OG” Je’Von Evans struts out. With his shoulders still taped up, Evans tells the champion to shut up, bluntly stating that people are coming after him simply because he holds the gold. Evans declares that while Zayn is busy trying to be one of the best, he is striving to be the best. He fires a massive warning shot, suggesting that Roman Reigns might have been right—and that Zayn doesn’t even need to take the WWE Title to Crown Jewel, because Evans would gladly step up to face the OTC instead.

Dismissing Evans as years away from his league, Zayn storms off in frustration.

Intercepting Zayn on the stage, GM Adam Pearce announces that since the champion demands respect, he can earn it right now. Pearce officially grants Je’Von Evans an impromptu title shot—the Undisputed WWE Championship match is next!
