Shawn Michaels stepped in to make sure Kevin Owens and CM Punk didn’t cross paths. Owens posted a video on Twitter showing him at the WWE building to get medical attention. But Punk was also expected to be there ahead of his NXT Title match against Grayson Waller, and Michaels didn’t want the two rivals running into each other.
So the WWE Hall of Famer told Owens to leave the building. It was a move meant to keep things from escalating before their scheduled match. Owens is set to face Punk in a No Holds Barred match on the November 6 episode of SmackDown in Brooklyn
