WWE Superstar Stephanie Vaquer is pushing back against the idea that women aren’t capable of being President of the United States.
In a recent Jubilee video, political commentator Dean Whiters debated 20 women who identify as part of Donald Trump’s MAGA movement.
The debate centered on whether men are better leaders than women, and one of Trump’s supporters made this argument:
“As a woman, I can tell you that we’re emotionally manipulated and very easily misled. We tend to be compassionate because we… as a woman, getting pregnant, it’s inheriting, inherent.”
Those comments caught Vaquer’s attention, and she argued that the MAGA supporter shouldn’t project her own shortcomings onto other women. She said:
“No sweetie. You can’t be president. Don’t speak for all women, because there are so many strong women in this world who are more than capable of being President.”
Whiters’ argument was that gender doesn’t play a role in someone’s ability to lead, and that other qualities matter far more.
In his rebuttal, Whiters pointed to Donald Trump as an example of someone who is emotional, citing Trump’s refusal to accept the results of the 2020 election.
Vaquer signed with WWE in 2024. She is a former NXT Women’s and Women’s North American Champion, and a former WWE Women’s World Champion.
