New WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton has hit back at criticism of her recent title win, insisting that cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase at Crown Jewel was the right call.
At the WWE event in Riyadh, Stratton turned on her “friend” Chelsea Green, cashing in moments after Green had beaten Liv Morgan to win the Crown Jewel Title.
Speaking on the Crown Jewel post-show, Stratton explained her decision:
“I mean, of course I was gonna take advantage of the situation. Of course Tiffany Stratton was gonna go out there and hit her Prettiest Moonsault Ever and become a Tiffy two-time WWE Women’s Champion, and the girl is gold. I feel like it looks better on me anyway, and I guess now it’s Tiffy Time.”
Stratton won the Money in the Bank briefcase last month, becoming only the second woman to win it twice.
Before her cash-in, she had befriended Green and had vowed to use the briefcase to take the Women’s World Championship from Morgan.
Her first cash-in took place in January 2025 and saw Stratton hold the WWE Women’s Championship for 302 days.
