Roman Reigns Defeats Sami Zayn To Win Men’s Crown Jewel Championship

Roman Reigns can now add the Crown Jewel Championship to his long list of career accomplishments after beating Sami Zayn at the 2026 WWE Crown Jewel premium live event.

Zayn actually came close to pulling off the upset. At one point in the match, he had Reigns covered for more than a three-count after Reigns accidentally knocked out referee Chad Patton with a Superman Punch. But by the time replacement referee Charles Robinson made it to the ring, too much time had passed and Zayn couldn’t secure the full pinfall.

Frustrated, Zayn took out Robinson with a Helluva Kick and only grew more agitated as the match wore on.

In the end, after trying one too many times to taunt The Tribal Chief with his own moves, Zayn was put down with a spear.

After the match, Zayn interrupted Paul “Triple H” Levesque as he was awarding the Crown Jewel Championship to Reigns, demanding that Reigns shake his hand out of respect for them being on the same level as champions. Reigns refused the handshake — only to go for a hug instead, ending the show posing with his titles.
